Terms of Business
Our fees and charges are based on the cost of our time, and traveling when and where appropriate. It has always been our aim to provide help and advice to anyone who wants or needs our help at a realistic and affordable cost, we have always and still do offer a free initial consultation of 30 minutes by phone, during which its hoped that an understanding an explanation of situations is achieved, beyond the first 30 minutes an hourly rate applies.
Charges are at an initial full hourly rate of £60.00 per hour, after the initial full hour our time is charged in units of 15 minutes per visit or conference.
Traveling to meetings is charged only on a per mile basis and calculated from Google maps at .40 pence per mile, based on a round trip usually from our home office in Chelmsford Essex or if applicable from our last meeting whichever is the nearest to you.
Applications to VOSA Central Licencing Unit in Leeds made for new applications are charged from £150.00 for a single operating centre application, additionally charges for more complex applications involving multiple operating centres and or multiple applications to several traffic areas, will be quoted for individually, based on time and correspondence. All applications involving local newspaper advertisements will involve additional fees directly to the regional newspaper.
Compliance audits are available; we can offer to Goods and Passenger Vehicle Operator Licence holders the facility to conduct independent systems compliance audits, a basic audit of a single operating centre licence starts from £250.00 which includes a professional and formal written report.
Expert witness and court appearances are charged at a basic day rate of £250.00 plus traveling to and from court and if necessary overnight expenses at £90.00 per night.
Training: We are an accredited JAUPT approved driver CPC Course facilitator being able to offer training locally to your premises, prices are based on the number of attending drivers. Payment for Driver CPC is always due prior or on the day of training unless a day rate invoice is requested which is due for payment within 7 days as the cost for uploads is pre-paid by Transport Help UK Ltd. We can now also offer to managers and principles a two day course / seminar offering a full and practical understanding of Operators Licencing with an additional benefit of carrying seven hours of drivers CPC accreditation, the course is also aimed to give the knowledge to obtain a FORS Bronze award for your business. The payment for these seminars must always be paid prior to event.
Payment of our fees and charges are all + VAT and can be made by secure chip and pin card payment or direct bank transfer.
